My Mom and I got to spend almost a week with the kids while Matt and Madison went on a business trip. It was so much fun to get to spend so much time with them! They are seriously the best and cutest kids ever!

Casey's Birthday is this weekend, but once again he will not be in town for it.

He is turning 30 on the 4th, so we celebrated a little early before he left.

He hasn't been home for his birthday since he was 19 so it was good to celebrate with him!

life has been so busy lately. I have been really busy at the salon, which I love so I can't complain but a vacation is sounding really nice right now... hmm...hopefully soon?!

I have lots of catching up to do and an overload of pictures so here is a quick recap on our holidays!

Chad's parents were able to come to Saint George the weekend before Christmas, Casey also came home this weekend from Kosovo. He has been gone the last year, and we are so happy to have him home!

On Christmas she spent it at the care center and visited the ladies that didn't have family come see them, and did there hair for them. This is just one example of what an amazing person she is!

Weekend getaways

Chad and I got a little weekend getaway. Unfortunately it was in two different places away from each other. We headed up north and I got to go stay with Madison's family, while Chad and his dad drove to Denver for the Bronco's Bear's game! Chad is a huge Bear's fan!

Madison's house is all cute and ready for Christmas, and she has the cutest kids so I had to snap some pictures of both :)

Matt and Madison decided they wanted to participate in the Angel Tree this year.

It was so fun to go with them and shop for another child in need, and to watch them teach Krue about it. Krue loved helping pick out things for this little boy. It made me step back and think about the meaning of Christmas. It was a really neat experience.

Thanksgiving Weekend and Palmer's Christmas Party!

This year for Thanksgiving we stayed home and celebrated with my side of the family, and will make it up north with Chad's family for Christmas. I wish we could spend time with everyone, but thats just how it works out living away from our families. Madison and Matt weren't able to make it down. They thought it was probably a good idea to stay home with the new baby. Casey is still in Kosovo and we missed him too! Hopefully he will make it home before Christmas. It was quiet this year without everyone. We still cooked like everyone was here and had lots of leftovers which is always nice.

Thanksgiving always makes me step back from our busy lives and think about all the blessing we have!

I am so grateful for the friends and family that we have, and all that they do for us! Chad and I have had an amazing 4 years together and each year keeps getting better! I am so grateful for him and his hard work, and all that he does for me! He is my best friend and always there for me! I am so grateful for his parents who raised him to be the man that he is, and for welcoming me into their family. I am so thankful for my parents, and can never thank them enough for all they have done, and taught me! I am thankful to have my siblings as my best friends, and to be so close to each one of them. Most of all I am thankful for our Heavenly Father who loves us, and blesses us with all of our many blessings, and am grateful to have him and the gospel in our lives!

I don't normally express so much feeling and emotion through my blog, I am much more private with my feelings, but I just want my friends, family, and mostly Chad to know how much I love them, and how grateful I am for them!!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving morning the boys got up for the annual Turkey Bowl, I stayed home and cooked so I didn't get any pictures of the football game.

Around noon we started Thanksgiving with my Dad's family at the Staheli Barn for lunch, singing, dancing, and of course lot's of good food!

After that we came home, rested up and cooked for thanksgiving dinner to have with my Mom.

Jasmine and my Mom brought over so much food it was amazing!

I can't get Madison to work on her own blog, but at least she sends us pictures, and I know a lot of you look at my blog to see what she is up to so I'll post some of the pictures she's sent me :)

Thanksgiving night Chad and I did a little bit of black friday shopping. We got a couple good deals, but I can't say I want to do it again. I can't believe how crazy people are! Later that weekend Chad got all the outside lights put up, and we put on some Christmas music and put up the tree. I'm sad I didn't get a picture of us decorating the tree, but we set the self timer and got one after church.

(I still need a star for the top, and a skirt.)

This week Chad got sick and even had to miss work one day. He came home from school and we had grilled cheese and tomato soup and snuggled up, I loved it! I thought I was going to be lucky and not catch it from him, but I was wrong. Friday after work we went to the Palmer's annual (ugly sweater) Christmas party! It was a lot of fun! Later that night I really started feeling crapy, but still had to work on Saturday. I tried to ignore it and drug Chad to the Dickens Festival and to Cafe Rio for date night. It probably wasn't the best idea. Chad has been so sweet and taking care of me all weekend. I just love him!

I love the holidays, and this time of year! Hope everyone else is enjoying this holiday season as well!

Madison called at 4 am Thursday morning and said that her water had broke.

Her husband was down here working and anxious to get there before the delivery.

We threw some clothes in our suitcase and were on the road about an hour later.

Chad drove way to fast for my liking, but got us to the Ogden hospital 4 hours later.

We got to the hospital room, they checked her and she was at a 5.

(They tried to slow her down knowing we weren't there yet)

about 30 minutes later they checked her again, and said she was ready!

Axzelle was born at 11:06 on Thursday November 17, 2011.

She came 2 weeks early, but is just perfect!

When Krue got to the hospital he was a little nervous around her,

he thought she was to small.

Once he warmed up to her he wanted to know where she was,

and what she was doing every minute.

Friday night we went to the desert hills/hurricane football game.

It started snowing right when the game started and snowed the whole time.

Hurricane took state, but desert hills had a great season!

Saturday they finally let Madison and the baby come home.

They kept them an extra day, because Zelle's blood sugar and weight was a little low.

She was down to 5lbs 14oz when they left.

Saturday night Chad's mom came to visit the baby and took us out to dinner.

Unfortunately on Sunday we had to come home.

It was a quick eventful trip, but I had many anxious clients wanting to get in before Thanksgiving!

I'm glad we got to share this experience with Madison's family!

A couple of weekends ago Chad and I went down to

Mesquite with Garrett and Aubrey.

We went to dinner and then went bowling.

The following day we had my mom take some pictures of Chad and I after church

My mom really wanted Chad and I to swing on this rope above the river, but I didn't dare so she had some fun on it instead! :) Thanks mom! We love you!

Halloween Weekend my friend Tenille and I decided to head up north for the weekend.

Chad had to stay home and work, and I sure missed him!

On Saturday Matt, Madison, Krue, Tenille, and I went to Gardner Village to do a little shopping. They had a fun area for the kids to ride horses. We also got to go on a tractor ride to the witch village.

Sunday was a busy day, we didn't even get out of our pajamas as you can tell..

We first went to Lowe's and got what we needed for the nursery. I helped Matt paint, and then he and Sheldon put up the beadboard.

It turned out so perfect, I love it!!

Madison and Krue got to come down and spend some time with us. We got some extra time with Krue because Madison had to fly out to Seattle for work meetings. Krue got to stay with us so that Matt could still work while Madison was gone. The day they came down Krue had western day at school, he looked so dang handsome!

Sleeping with him is a little bit of a challenge because he likes to sleep sideways no matter how many times you move him during the night. He sure knows how to take up a whole king bed! Silly boy!

After the park we had some lunch, took a nap and then went to Kenzi's baby shower!

After the baby shower we got to go down to the farm and watch Dylan perform. He is so talented!

It was way windy that night so you cant hear the recording very well or I would put it on here.

I also want my brother Casey to know how proud we are of him!

He's been in Kosovo for the last year for the military, and just found out he got accepted to the graduate program at NYU!

We are so happy for you and all you've accomplished!

A couple weeks ago we were sitting at the Desert Hills Stadium waiting for Dylan's game to start when I looked over and saw my mom walking up the bleachers with Krue. (my mom had been up visiting Madison). I couldn't believe it I was so excited! My mom had surprised us and brought Krue down to watch Dylan's football game! Thanks Madison for letting her do that I know how hard it was for you!

It was a really fun game and Dylan played awesome!

I got to go with my Dad to take Krue back up on Saturday and also to help Madison get settled in there new house!

We got to go up to Ogden Canyon and have a picnic and play at the park.

We got to help Matt and Madison with a little bit of yard work in the backyard

We also got to go to Gateway and go shopping and to dinner

While we were at Gateway I finally got a new phone..yay!!

I just have to vent for a minute....

Right before we went up to visit UPS had delivered a package (the baby's new bedding) to Matt and Madison's old house and they went to pick it up and someone had stolen off the porch!

People are so lame! I'm sorry that happened!

What we've been up to!

My Birthday was last month and for some reason I've never been huge on celebrating it. I kinda just treat it like any other day which I know is boring, but thats just how I am. So I went to work at the Salon and had a full day from 8-4. While I was there I had a nice surprise. Chad had some beautiful flowers delivered to me, and then later stopped by with another surprise. My favorite sugar cookies with a wedding band (since I lost my wedding ring and we cant afford to replace it right now). It's nice to have something back on my finger.

After work we went to dinner at Outback with my Mom, my uncle Dan, Jasmine and Seager

The next day was our big day of moving so after dinner I was anxious to go home and get things ready for the big move! Thanks everyone who made it a special day!

These are just a couple rooms in the house. I've still got some decorating and putting away to do in the study and guest room. Its' been really fun and exciting and were so grateful to have a home of our own. Chad and I have worked hard to buy this all on our own with no help and we are so grateful.

We love the area and the neighborhood, its perfect for what we need and were looking for!

Thursday nights we get to go watch my little brother Dylan play for Desert Hills. He plays quarter back and was voted team captain and has been doing awesome! We are so proud of him!

Krue turned 3 on the 8th of August so we took the weekend off and headed up north for his Birthday Party, and to visit our families! It was a quick trip, but fun as always!

Krue is the smartest little guy that I know! You have to watch this video of him reading this book and tell me how many 2 now 3 year olds have a memory and vocabulary like his!

I can brag cause I'm his aunt:)

I also want to say how excited we are for our little niece to arrive!

Madison is due at the end of November.

I had to take a belly picture of her, because I don't think she has taken one yet, and is almost 6 months along! She looks amazing!

On Saturday we took Dylan school shopping and had lunch there at the mall

After lunch we went and visited a couple of my cousins. My cousin Jason and his wife Alyssa just had there little girl Emree the end of July. She was so cute! Krue was a little nervous about how small she was, but he is going to be such a good big brother!

Later that night we went to one of our favorite sushi restaurants for dinner.

Sunday before we headed home we celebrated Krue's Birthday Party! Madison is so creative, and made the cutest banners, cup cake toppers, decorations and everything!

Cancun!

Chad and I got to go to Cancun 2 weeks ago and just got back a week ago.

It was so much fun to have a break, and just get to spend some alone time together!

The first day was a little rocky getting started. Chad accidently got the wrong bag at the airport, which we didn't notice until we got to the hotel.

The bags look identical, and someone else accidently grabbed his and we ended up theirs.

Luckily the next day we got in touch with them and were able to meet up and make the switch!

Wednesday: Traveling, looking for Chads suitcase, buying Chad a new suit and shirt

Thursday: We gave up looking for the suitcase and decided to play at the beach

Then we got the phone call from the lady that had accidently grabbed Chad's bag, so this is us on the bus going to meet her. (quite the adventure)

Thursday: More beach time, volleyball, dinner, a show, and relaxing

Friday: The market, lunch, swimming, dinner, and another show

(they had a show every night we were there, all different themes)

Saturday: Pool, Ping Pong, Dinner, and a show

Tuesday: One last walk on the beach, cool down in the pool, and got to hold some new baby turtles that hatched! Then the travel home

We had so much fun, and it was the right timing! We were both needing a break, Chads about to start school again, and we are in the process of closing on a house!

Loving Summer!

Our summer has been full of events and I love every minute of it! Except for loosing my wedding ring, and breaking my i phone after a week... but back to the positive!

My Dad, Chad, Dylan, and Seager have been playing on a softball team in Washington and actually just finished undefeated! It has been a lot of fun watching them all play together. They play with a lot of guys from our ward so its fun to know the wives that come to watch.

My little brother Dylan got asked to play his first show at GoGo 37 and open for a band. He did awesome, I am so proud of him! He writes most of his own lyrics and music, but can play and sing anything!

Next, Chad's Birthday!

I think Transformers coming out the night before his Birthday was one of the best presents he could ask for, so opening night we were there! 3d and all!

I got him an i phone, but later in the day he bought me one..

so I don't really feel like I got him a present?

Later that day my Mom treated us to lunch at Cafe Rio with my Grandma and Grandpa, Jasmine, and my aunt Jenny!

Like Chad's shirt? The Palmers brought that for me, but it ended up on him?

That weekend I got to throw him a little surprise party with family and friends.

The following night started our 4th of July celebrations!

We had a BBQ at my mom's, enjoyed some fireworks until the cops came and told us you can't do fireworks in Washington, just Saint George..not even our sparklers..dumb! Then slept outside in the tent. I only made it outside till about 3:30 and then enjoyed a nice comfy bed the rest of the night!

The 3rd of July we went swimming. Krue is quite the swimmer!

The 4th of July started with the annual Baseball Game.

Next we went up to the park, Krue won 3rd in the races, and got his face painted.

That night Jasmine had us over at her house to watch the fireworks. She lives right by the park, and temple, perfect spot to watch the fireworks!

Wednesday night was softball night

Friday Chad and I headed to Green River to meet Chad's parents for a river rafting trip they had planned for us. They took us out to dinner that night, and we were going to start Saturday morning for a 2 day rafting trip. Unfortunately Chad's brother got really sick with ammonia so Chad's dad decided he needed to go home to be with him. We decided not to go on the rafting trip with out him and just enjoy some time in Moab for the weekend.

This beautiful sunset was the result of the phone..

After watching the sunset I realized I left my phone on the hood of the car. We had been trying for a few minutes when I looked out the window and saw it still sitting on the hood. I panicked which made Chad panic and as we came to a stop it slid off and resulted in this...

The trip didn't exactly go as planned but we still had fun, and I am so grateful for a positive husband whom always makes the best out of every situation.

We are so happy that his brother got the help that he needed, and that his dad followed his prompting to go home, and get him to the doctor.

I have been having a really hard time loosing my wedding ring, and then breaking my phone, but I look back at these last 2 weeks and am so grateful for our families and for each other!

About 4 weeks ago Chad's parents came down for a visit. We had so much fun visiting with them, and ate lots of yummy food at lots of yummy restaurants. They always spoil us with dinner at a place called Katherine's down in Mesquite.

The weekend after that we got bored one night and headed to Vegas with Garrett and Aubrey.

Madison & Jasmines Birthday both fall on June 15th. I think this is the first year they have ever celebrated it apart from each other! My mom and I took Jasmine to lunch at Chilis.

On Fathers Day we had my dad over for dinner and hungout. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures. I haven't been very good about that lately, but we want both of our Dad's to know how much we love and appreciate them!

To start my post I just want to start by saying how lucky I am to have such an amazing husband and family! I love them all so very much, and couldn't imagine my life with out them!

back to the update..

Matt, Madison and Krue were able to come down and spend a couple of weeks with us. It was SO good to see them, I miss them too much! We started by going to the park to celebrate my dad's birthday!

The following day my dad took us on a scavenger hunt to find our Easter baskets. We started at the park and ended at his house.

Later that day we went to the Staheli Family Easter Party down at the farm.

I also want to say Congratulations to this happy family!

Madison is pregnant and is expecting in November!

We cant wait, and are so happy for them!

Sping Break & More

Chad got promoted to a Banker at Wells Fargo so during his Spring Break he had to go up north for some training so I went up with him. He had to spend the days at training so didn't get much of a break, but we were still glad for a little bit of a break and the chance to see our families.

Madison, Krue, Dylan and I went to the Dinosaur Park one day. Krue loves the dinosaurs!

For Saint Patrick's Day Madison made us a green breakfast!

Later that night we got to meet up for dinner with some friends. It was so good to see everyone! We haven't got together with everyone since we lived up there.

I didn't get any pictures of Friday, but I got to spend some time at the mall with Chad's mom while he went shooting with his friends. Later that night Chad's parents took us out to dinner & then we watched a movie.

On Saturday we got to go bowling and get sushi for dinner

That was most of our trip to Salt Lake. Even though Chad was in training most of the time it was still a nice break!

Back in Saint George...

Chad has been training a couple of guys for the Biggest Loser Saint George. He really has enjoyed it a lot. The last week he was done training them he got to go run a 5k along the side of one of his guys he trained, who was also the at home winner.

Good Job Biggest Losers!

My Uncle Aaron (my mom's brother) came down from Idaho to visit. It was so good to see him. I only got pictures of the dog for some reason, but these pictures don't even show how big his dog really is!

This past weekend we got to go to dinner and mini golfing with some friends for Whitney's Birthday. Whitney is also pregnant and having a boy! Congratulations & Happy Birthday!

Last but not least..

We are trying to sale Chad's truck so if you are interested or know of anyone that is let us know! It's a 2004 Toyota Tacoma

Long post, lots of pictures, but I just have to add how happy I am to have Jasmine back in Saint George! I sure missed her, and love having her back! Now if we can just get Madison's family down here, Casey home from being around the world, and Chad's family to at least get a second home down here. :)

Matt, Madison, Jasmine, Seager and Krue came down for Dylan's last Basketball game. After the game my mom took us to get sushi and then to watch the Jazz game. (no pictures)

That weekend we also got to go to Snow Canyon with my dad for a picnic and enjoy the nice weather.

Back at my moms house Aunt Starr gave Krue some silly putty to play with and the results...

On Valentine's the boys surprised us girls and took us down to Vegas. They took us shopping most of the day, and then we went and checked into our room at Mandalay Bay. We got ready for dinner and went out to a really good sushi restaurant for dinner. Tuesday morning we did a little more shopping and had lunch at the house of blues. Chad really spoiled me!

Chad and I got to go to Salt Lake for a Jazz game. He does an amazing job at the bank and won boxed seats to the Jazz/Sacramento game. It was so much fun!

Of course we got to see our families too!

I feel like it's been forever since my last post, but I think everyone can agree with me when I say the holidays are BUSY! I also haven't taken as many pictures as I normally take, but here's an update anyway..

Thanksgiving was fabulous! We went to Chad's grandparents and got to see all the family, eat lots of food, play games, and relax! It was a fun weekend with lots of family, unfortunately I didn't get any pictures.

December started off with attending the Palmers Christmas Party

Next we had some unfortunate events..(flooding) Packed up my moms house just incase..

Luckily no damage and to see everyone join together to help was awesome!

It has been 2 weeks, and we still have snow..that doesn't happen in St. George

New Years we had dinner at my aunt and uncles, played some minute to win it games, and then went to my mom and played more games

Dylan plays Basketball @ Desert Hills for the sophomore and JV team, so I get to go watch his games a couple of days a week. He is doing so good I am so proud of him! He is just a sophomore and just turned 16 this month!

We will really miss him, but are so grateful for him serving for our country!

Veterans Day

I had to work all day yesterday so I didn't get a chance to post this, but I just wanted to say thank you to all the men and women and their families that are in the service. I hope you all had a Happy Veterans Day!

I just want to say congratulations again to Matt and Madison!

We love you both so much, and your day was perfect.

We are so glad we got to be a part of it!

For those of you that couldn't make it here are some pictures and a video of their day. The pictures from the actual wedding day are just ones I snapped with my camera. (we don't have the ones back from the photographer yet). There are some bridals mixed in which her photographer did take and did an awesome job. Matt & Madison rented out a lodge right up the road from where the wedding was for all their friends to stay in over night. We stayed an extra night and had tin foil dinners and relaxed!

The wedding fit Madison and Matt perfectly! She was so creative with everything that she did! Jasmine did all of the flowers at the wedding & open house and did an amazing job!!
